FREELANCE WRITER

We’re looking to update our stellar group of freelance contract writers and acquire some new, fresh faces (and words, of course) in our publications.

Freelance writers are called upon to research, compile information and compose feature articles, profiles and news briefs of varying lengths on a wide range of subjects. Successful candidates must be able to pick through industry jargon to put together informative and interesting content.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to create clean copy.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines is a must – no exceptions.
  • Knowledge of CP and AP style. (If you do not have a copy of the latest Caps and Spelling book, this job isn’t for you.)
  • Creative thinking with a flare for taking dry copy and making it jump off the page and capture the reader’s attention.
